What is Hypno-Regression?

(art work by Sue Jones from PACK YOUR
BAGS Cassette by Henry Bolduc, CH)
A Journey in Time
Hypno-Regression is a trip back through time to our "roots".
A client can take a deep inter quest to the center of truth. The goal
is to learn more about the inner mind. Regression is an approach to
previously uncharted areas of the mind using hypnosis as a mind awake/body
asleep process.
Hypnosis helps access memory imprints from long-term memory banks, deep
within. The inner mind is likened to an immense library where all
knowledge is stored and available for use. It is as vast as eternity,
yet profound in its simplicity.
There are 14 basic steps to each regression session. The depth
level of hypnosis varies with each individual, as does the pace and timing.
Each person responds with his or her own temperament, style, and experience.
The session begins with Hypnosis or Self-Hypnosis - entering the clients
own relaxed, 100% natural level of mind. Next, the client is
guided back to recall pleasant memories from the teen age years and then
younger years...deep into memories forgotten and times past. What are
the memories from long ago? Describe what you see. What lessons were gained
at that time? Who do you need to forgive?
Then, you might bring back something special.
Remembering... that which is important, helpful, beneficial. Return
from the trip, refreshed, enlivened. Wake up in total normalization
and well being. The client is encouraged not to evaluate the
information as it unfolds, rather to save all self-analysis for discussion
after the session.
An hour and half to two hours will be necessary for the Hypno-Regression
Therapy. First, time for beginning thoughts, telling your story and
explaining what you wish the intent to be for the session. The
approximately one hour session. And, then the discussion afterwards to
bring it all together.
Personal Background
In the Fall of 2001 (oh my, it has been five years ago) my
friend and teacher Lori Edwards insisted that I go with her to Henry
Bolduc's Intensive Training in Virginia. Lori Edwards had known Henry
Bolduc from years passed and had taken classes from him before. She
told me he was gifted and that his training was important to receive.
He was retiring, and this was his last Intensive Training.
At the time I knew I wanted to go, but I just could not do it at the time.
My friend Ardis and I did go up on Friday for a personal Regression session. Friends and neighbors are invited
on Friday for the students to practice on. I was exited, but I did not
know it was going to change my life.
After my session that day, I bought several of Henry's tapes and
one of his books. From there, I read Henry's book Life
Patterns and practiced on myself by listening to
the tapes. I continued to travel some in my mind and received some more
information, but I realized that having a facilitator with me was
imperative. Lori and I planned visits (she lives in Pennsylvania), but
even though Lori had been to Johnson City, TN many times giving workshops
and classes on Aromatherapy, Cranial Sacral Work, etc. we had not gotten a
workshop together for the Regression work, although we spent many hours
talking on the phone.
One day around the end of September this year, I was sitting here at my
computer, and I thought again about Henry's work. I looked on my
bookcase and sure enough there sat Henry's book in plain view. I
wondered where my tapes were and remembered they were still in the small
suitcase where I had never unpacked them from when I was with my daddy when he was so
sick two years ago. Time moves on and sometimes things get left behind
and pushed back and misplaced.
I thought as I took Henry's book off the shelf and held it in my hands, "I really missed it! I was supposed to go to that
training with Lori and now I will never be able to do it again. I
really missed it!" Well, the next week, I received a letter from
Adventures Into Time. I knew this was Henry. When I opened it,
I could hardly believe my eyes. I was being invited to the Friday
session again, and so there must be a class happening! I quickly got
on the internet and found Henry and sure enough he was coming out of
retirement to do a Training Intensive in October. I found the telephone
number to call and made the call. I said, "Do you have any room left
for the class?" I knew there was to be a limited number and it was
only about two weeks away.
There was room, and I put my life at home on hold, packed my bags (food
and all), and spent a week in the Hypno-Regression Training Intensive.
Needless to say, I traveled in my mind a great deal in that week.
Really interesting. I always want to share what I learn. Before
Daddy died, I always wanted to learn things to help him. This time the
therapy was for me and those I can reach and share with.
For me to explain how the Hypno-Regression has helped me, I would have to
tell much private stuff. Many times the things that are revealed are
very personal. I would invite you to make a phone call, and we can
discuss further. Would you like to make some changes in your life?
I need to explain something:
My training with Henry had to do with past lives. We do not have
to believe in past lives to receive healing and clearing of emotional
difficulties with this Hypno-Regression Therapy. Everyone is entitled to their
own belief system. Perhaps, our minds really are bigger than we ever
once thought...for whatever that could mean...when I get everything in life
figured out, I will surely report it!
The sessions feel very God connected, like we are going to our
roots, our origin. When I have a session, I ask God to show me what He
wants me to see. When I am with a client, I ask God to show them what
He wants them to see, and I ask the Lord's guidance on my words. I am a God
Believing Christian, and I do the Regression Therapy in a way that is comfortable for
me.
This is a very valuable therapy, Like I said...the therapy has
changed my life. The hypnosis techniques used are just enough to
put the client in a calm, peaceful place. The client does not have to
do anything against their will, and they are
free to reveal only what they want to say. The client has complete
control, I am just the facilitator.
